Welcome!

My name is Stefanie Burich. I’m an instructional designer and adult education specialist. My husband and I live in the beautiful state of Alaska with our ever-enthusiastic husky, who ensures we go on daily adventures in the woods and surrounding mountains.

I’m passionate about adult education and curriculum and content design, and I’m currently building up my portfolio page on important Instructional Design topics like learning theories and models. Here, you will find some of the skills, knowledge, and experiences I have gained over the years.

My experience covers university classrooms and online learning in higher education, as well as staff and contractor training in government organizations and staff development in the non-profit sector. I have been working in higher education since 2007 as a university lecturer and instructional designer. I am currently a program coordinator for the State of Alaska where one of my responsibilities involves staff training and the development of educational resources. I’m also an independent consultant for small non-profit organizations.
